Individuals coming out of rehabilitation facilities can be assured of support and structured daily living activities when entering a sober living home. These homes are not a treatment or detox center and do not administer medication or have psychological services.

Sober home living will teach the individual how to maintain sobriety once they return to their family environment. Many will need to cope with family and friends who still drink or do drugs. Sober living homes are not Halfway Houses; they are homes with rules that help reinforce the individual’s commitment to recovery. There are no dugs on the premises and residents go through random drug testing as required. All residents must be employed, looking for employment or be enrolled in school. Rent and bills must be paid on time with the exception of those who are disabled. Disabled residents will help around the house or grounds and as much as they are able. All residents are also required to attend AA or NA meetings. No violence, harassment, sexual activity or absenteeism is tolerated. Residents will also have a curfew in which they must abide by for the safety of all residents.The homes are set up for females or males and each member must have good grooming habits. All residents will have chores to be done in the home. The residents will be helped in personal growth and rebuilding their lives back into society.
